The throwback balls for Columbia 300 continue to bring performance to the lanes that capture the attention of the bowlers. Columbia 300 has worked hard with every throwback release to use attributes from the balls that made them successful in their era and infuse new technology to make them leading products in today’s environment. The Cuda line is a great example. We started with a similar core shape as the original Cuda/C, and we replaced the non-drillable ceramic nugget with PowerCOR for the same results but in a driller-friendly version. The major upgrade to the line has been the coverstock technology, and the Super Cuda PowerCOR uses Formula 1 Hybrid. This cover was chosen because of its strength in oil and how it provides Columbia 300 with a motion unlike anything else in the current line.

The Hater has a new core and cover combo; the ultra-aggressive Hater core is wrapped around the most violent version of the HK22 DV8 used, HK22 Havoc Hybrid, and is finished with 1500 grit to bite through the oil. The Hellcat XLR8 and Hater are both made for oil, but the Hater will respond more on the backend for a better angle and more strikes!

Trouble Maker was a revolutionary ball featuring the first core designed specifically for no-thumb bowlers. The ball performed incredibly for all styles, even bowlers who use a thumb hole, but no-thumb bowlers saw more versatility from this ball than any other. Adding the HK22 base to a hybrid Game Breaker means versatility and strikes – lots of them. This exciting addition of a base coverstock that is changing the game to the already proven and famous Enhanced V2 core will make this one of the most anticipated Ebonite releases in quite some time.

The dictionary defines a Game Breaker as a bowling ball that always performs and is one of the best values in bowling. The Radioactive Vibe was the boldest-looking Vibe ever produced, and it rolls incredibly. We are kicking the boldness and performance of the line up a notch with the new Arctic Vibe. This Vibe will stand out for its bright white and purple mix, and its screaming backend. Hammer has not produced many two-color Vibes or hybrid options; the Arctic Vibe was strategically developed to enhance the line and not replace the two previously released Vibes since they are still going strong. HK22 – CT Reactive Max is undoubtedly too much cover for this price point, it causes the Arctic Vibe to outperform anything in its category, and that’s ok because Hammerheads will love it!
