We did it again! Improving an already incredible line isn’t easy, but we managed to do it again with the new Black Widow 3.0. Each Widow release in recent years has been more popular than the previous and has taken ball reaction to new levels, and the Black Widow 3.0 will not be an exception. The Black Widow 3.0 is an incredible complement to the Widow 2.0 Hybrid; it has surface and tractions more in oil, making it a great ball to pull out of your bag first. The new Black Widow 3.0 is a solid reactive, much like the Black Widow 2.0, but the cover has been upgraded with a solid version of HK22 and has the same out-of-the-box surface as the Black Widow 2.0. HK22 gives the new Black Widow an advantage on medium to oily lanes, and Hammer fans will be excited when they see that it’s the traditional black and orange Hammer colors.

ong Anticipated Combination! The Stealth balls have filled a big gap and have been extremely effective when a symmetric bigger core ball is needed, and bowlers have been very successful with the Stealth balls. Adding a Stealth Hybrid to the line should be no surprise; the solid and pearl were exceptional, and combining the two has been long anticipated. The new Stealth Hybrid is shiny, just as the pearl version was, and the combination of a hybrid HK22-Prime Response cover and the Stealth core design makes this a great ball when there is still some oil on the lane and bowlers need good length and recovery.

You will not want to miss this ball! The DV8 line-up has a ball for everyone, from no-thumb bowlers to bowlers needing big hook monsters. The new Mantra from DV8 fills a gap in the line, providing a medium-strength asymmetric core with a skid-flip cover for a ball that will excel on medium conditions. The Mantra has the industry-leading HK22 cover and Inciter Xtreme additives from the Trouble Maker Pearl and is finished with Factory Compound to give it easy length and a strong change of direction. The DV8 Mantra’s stunning appearance and more noticeable performance will make this a ball you will not want to miss.

The throwback balls for Columbia 300 continue to bring performance to the lanes that capture the attention of the bowlers. Columbia 300 has worked hard with every throwback release to use attributes from the balls that made them successful in their era and infuse new technology to make them leading products in today’s environment. The Cuda line is a great example. We started with a similar core shape as the original Cuda/C, and we replaced the non-drillable ceramic nugget with PowerCOR for the same results but in a driller-friendly version. The major upgrade to the line has been the coverstock technology, and the Super Cuda PowerCOR uses Formula 1 Hybrid. This cover was chosen because of its strength in oil and how it provides Columbia 300 with a motion unlike anything else in the current line.
